1. Information We Collect

Joseph Services LLC is a motor carrier. We haul freight on our own trucks under our own operating authority, MC-1209517 and USDOT 3580883. We collect the following personal information when you use the forms on this website, call or email us, or tender a shipment to us:

Full name and business name
Email address
Mobile phone number
Company address, and the pickup and delivery locations for your shipment
Freight details you give us: commodity, weight, dimensions, equipment needed, dates
Communication records (calls, texts, emails) and shipment paperwork such as bills of lading and delivery receipts

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, bank details, or Social Security numbers through this website. No form on this site collects them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to quote, book, and run the shipment you asked us to carry, and for nothing else:

Quoting a load and issuing the rate confirmation for it
Planning the route, dispatching our own driver, and getting the truck to the pickup and delivery appointments
Sending you status on a shipment in transit, and returning signed delivery paperwork
Reaching you by SMS, phone, or email about a shipment in progress
Invoicing, collecting payment, and handling any cargo claim
Complying with legal and regulatory obligations, including the records a motor carrier is required to keep

We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not send marketing messages of any kind.

3. SMS / Text Message Communications

If you tick the SMS consent box on our contact form or our freight quote form, or give us your mobile number verbally or in writing when arranging a shipment, you may receive text messages from Joseph Services LLC about that shipment. These messages are strictly operational and informational: appointment times, arrival and departure updates, delays, and paperwork.

No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates.

Consent to be texted is not a condition of shipping with us. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for support. Message and data rates may apply. Messaging frequency varies with how many shipments you have moving.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Because we carry your freight ourselves rather than passing it to another company, there is no broker or partner carrier in the middle receiving your details. Your information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

With our own driver on the load, who needs the addresses, contacts, and appointment details to complete the pickup and delivery
With the consignee, and with the pickup and delivery facilities, to the extent the bill of lading and the appointment require
With technology service providers (e.g., RingCentral for SMS delivery) who are bound by confidentiality agreements
With our insurer, and with a claims adjuster, if a cargo claim or an accident involves your shipment
When required by law, court order, or government regulation, including records requested by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration or a state enforcement agency

We do not share your mobile opt-in data or SMS consent information with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Where we are required to notify you of a breach of unencrypted and unredacted personal information, we will do so without unreasonable delay, in accordance with Pennsylvania's Breach of Personal Information Notification Act (73 P.S. § 2301 et seq.), as amended by Act 33 of 2024. Where a breach affects more than 500 Pennsylvania residents, we will also notify the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.
